Sergeant Marty McClure
Marty has worked for the Police Department since October 1998. He was promoted to Sergeant in 2015 and is the Explosive K-9 handler for Ziggy. He has received training in several areas including: Tennessee Law Enforcement Training, Drug Interdiction School, Firearms training/instructor, DUI and Field Sobriety Instructor Training, Basic Traffic Investigation, QUAD Instructor School, Basic and Advanced Swat School, ATF Explosives K-9 Handler School, Advance Explosives Post Blast Training, Basic Spanish for Law Enforcement, Leadership training, and FBI Sniper School. He graduated from Palmersville High School and attended the Paris Vocational School.
Sergeant Trae Vaughn
Trae was hired December of 2012. He has received the following training while at the Martin Police Department: Basic Police Academy, Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement, Basic Police Cyclist School, Basic SWAT, Field Training Officer, Basic/At Scene Crash Investigation, Advanced Crash Investigation, and Crash Reconstruction. Trae is from Gleason, TN. He graduated from Bethel University in May of 2012 with a Bachelors of Art in Human Services with an Emphasis in Criminal Justice. While at Bethel he received the Criminal Justice Award for highest academics in his Criminal Justice classes.
