Ephraine-A-Gilbert-002-225x300On 12/12/17 at approx. 12:24 am, Sgt. Chris Finch of the Martin Police Dept., stopped a Volkswagen Jetta for speeding on Gardner-Hyndsver Rd.  The driver, Ephraine A. Gilbert, 25 of Martin, was discovered to have a revoked driver’s license.  During the stop, Sgt. Finch could detect the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.  During a probable cause search of the vehicle, Sgt. Finch located a total of 17 grams of marijuana, 2 packages of edible marijuana cookies, 2 Adderall pills, 1 Vyvanse pill and a set of digital scales.  The offender was transported to Martin Police Department and charged with possession of sch. II with intent, possession of sch. VI with intent, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on revoked driver’s license and no insurance.

Mr. Gilbert will be arraigned on 12/14/17 at 2:00 pm in Weakley County General Sessions Court.
